Lyan Packaging can supply a range of standard corrugated boxes ('0201' style- flaps opening from top and bottom) from stock, or bespoke to meet your requirements.

Single walled boxes are regarded as being 'Standard Duty' and are suitable for the majority of standard applications, for use with light / medium weighted items. Double walled boxes are regarded as being 'Heavy Duty' and are suitable for applications requiring greater strength performance; such as multi-layered stacking of boxes onto a pallet, or the containment of heavy and/or fragile items. Boxes can also be further strengthed by adjustment and chemical treatment of the 'fluting' (corrugated spacing between layers).

Board grades can be selected to suit the appearance required. The most common outer papers on board are: - 

• 'Test'- economical brown paper finish, suitable for when the outer appearance is of low importance
• 'Kraft'- high quality brown paper finish, used on the majority of cardboard boxes used
• 'Mottled Kraft'- kraft quality with a slightly off-white appearance, economical (in comparison with 'White Kraft')
• 'White Kraft'- high quality white paper finish

All dimensions are expressed as Length x Width x Height. Dimensions represent internal dimensions of the box, making it easy to decide on a box suitable to hold the required contents.

Boxes can be supplied in quantities as few as fifty to the desired strength and size. There are no tooling costs for the manufacture of bespoke standard boxes, making this a cost effective option for small runs.
